Hello,
This is my first thread. I recently retired from Nursing and now have time, money and the desire to make a Porcelain Lace Drape doll. I made one in 1985 but have no contacts for that or any instructor now. It is an uncommon mixture of pottery, China painting and glazes, building and draping a figure that you built using cotton lace dipped in slip to “dress the doll” in Victorian styles. Once fired the lace burns out and leaves a shell that was the lace. I have in the last 30 years done ceramics, Porcelain Painting and want to now focus on Porcelain Lace Drape. If you have any Porcelain artist that can teach me this almost lost art please email me their contacts. Thank you, [email protected]
