Learn to make pottery forms of all kinds like mugs, cups, vases, plates and platters, pitchers, teapots, and decorative ceramic sculpture. We also have live weekly pottery tutorials and exclusive virtual workshops with renowned ceramic artists and teachers.
In this class, I’ll show you how to make a textured teacup from a slab of clay. We’ll use stamps, texture plates, and embossed rollers to add visual interest to the surface. Then we’ll make a hollow handle from a slab and attach it to the teacup. This project is suited to all experience levels so let’s get started making our teacup.
