Mandala Pendant

This class is perfect for all ages and skill levels.
Materials:
1 lbs of clay, you can use any clay you like, I am using Laguna Bmix 5 clay
1/4” slab, you can use a rolling pin with thickness strip, slab roller or any way you like to make slabs
Mandala Stamps 2– 3” in diameter or other stamps you have for texture on bead
3” circle cookie cutter (larger or smaller cutters can be used)
3/8” hole cutter
Bamboo Skewers
Clay Knife, I am using the Dolan 220s,
Flexible Rib, I am using the Mud Tools #3 yellow rib
Sponge
Bowl or bucket of water
Ware boards for working on and drying on, here I am using ¾” plywood
Kiln, your own or access to one
Brushes for glazing, I am using a few Medium Sumi Brushes
Leather or stain cord
Glazes Shown
Mayco Manganese or Iron Wash (You can also use Georgie’s Interactive Pigments) or any Black Underglaze
Spectrum Sangria & Autumn Purple
Amaco Indigo Float & Textured Turquoise
