Magic Shaker
These double walled hollow bottomed Shakers are a fun way to make salt, pepper, herb and spice shakers and are a fabulous form to practice your throwing skills. This class is a bit challenging but with practice I know you’ll get it and will love making them!
Materials:
Pottery Wheel
.75-1 lb of clay (I am using Laguna bmix5 without grog)
Medium red and small yellow mud tool rib
Wooden ribs, a regular wooden rib and a MKM 10a rib
Wooden clay knife
Cutting wire
Needle Tool
Sponge
Bucket/bowl for Water
Bat for pottery wheel (optional)
Loop trimming tool
Chuck
A kiln or access to one
Glazes Used or Show
