Learn how to how to make a pair of dangle earrings from clay slabs! These earrings can be made as posts or as French hook /wire earrings. They can also be made as a simpler single part version. You will also learn how to make earrings with an impressed texture design as well as a stamped glaze patten option. This class is suitable for all skill levels and ages.
Materials:
.25lb Clay, I am using Laguna Bmix5
Ware board or slab mat to work on
Rolling pin
Earring Template or cutters from Dela Design Gifts
Texture tools or underglaze decals (optional)
Rubber stamp of any pattern you like
Needle Tool
Color/Clay Shaper
Sponge
Bucket of water
Clay Drill
Nichrome wire “U”’s
Brush for glazes
Kiln, your own or access to one
Colors For Earth in Cerulean, Dark Sapphire and Black
Amaco Mixing Clear Glaze
Brayer (optional)
Plastic or paper plate as a palette
Post earring blanks with glue pad or French Hook/Ear Wires
E6000 epoxy
